Brandon Britton grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, the place he will always call home.Kentucky is where he found his passion; after trying his hand at baseball and manyother sports he realized his true calling was writing music. He put down his baseballbat, picked up a guitar, and hasn't put it down since. After one week of guitarlessons he decided to teach himself to play, and from there him and a fellowmusician, Jacob Cunningham, started playing shows together. They formed the acousticduo, Signal Fading. After developing their sound and foundation of listeners theytook another step and added drums and bass to their already unique acoustic sound. They were on the rise, playing with well known artists in the area when they all wenttheir seperate ways to find their own individuality.
The singer-songwriter aspect ofmusic is what held his heart moreso than playing in an acoustic-rock band.Brandon continued writing about the experiences that make up his life timeline, ranging from love and heartache to the loss of his father. No matter which song ofhis is playing, as a listener you are sure to be inspired. Whether it makes youlaugh or cry, you will surely feel the passion in his lyrics.
Along with writing his own lyrics and melodies, Brandon records his own music at hisin-home studio. He was a student at The Art Institute of Nashville to further hisknowledge of recording, but once again realized he was much more capable of teachinghimself the tricks of the trade. He has upgraded his equipment over the years andspent countless nights learning the ins and outs of it all. Along with learning theequipment to record many instruments, he has also learned to play them. Along withthe guitar, Brandon plays the drums, piano, and bass in his songs. Brandoncouldn't ask for more than an honest analysis of the music he makes, and sends histhanks out to anyone who listens.
