Crucial Sound aka Sifiso Stopford aka Zulu Boy was born in South Africa Johannesburg, Ext 13, He was adopted at the age of 6 and moved to London, UK. Making mix tapes after school with MCs in his bedroom on fruity loops is where Crucial sound began. His big sister introduced him to turntables and record shopping at 13.
At the age of 21 Sifiso has had a guest appearance at the following clubs; Water rats (kings cross), Forum (Kentish town), Ceases (Streatham high street) Capise (Mayfair), Rococo (Leicester square) and The Hilton (Park lane) plus many more.
His production record includes 2 bootlegs commissioned by MTV mash, Busta Rhymes vs The Cure and 50 cent vs The strokes.
The Zulu boy recently completed his bachelors of science degree in Music technology and Sound Design technology in 2007, His work is influenced by Bob Dylan, uk hip hop, wu-tang, classical, Tribe called quest and Timberland.
