I work in the library at the University of Birmingham. I like it. I'm also doing an MSc Information and Library Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I go there once a year for study school, which basically involves catching up with people, getting drunk and going to some lectures. My main love musically is heavy metal, mainly Down, Corrosion of Conformity, Pantera, Type O Negative, Clutch and lots of others. I like country music too, especially Hank III, Johny Cash and Dolly. I also go to loads of gigs, most recently Metallica at Wembley, Aerosmith at Hyde park and the Download festival, all of which were bloody awesome. I've been very lucky gig-wise this year, aside from a minor blip on the horizon in the form of an odd show by Type O Negative, but I'm hoping they'll come back and play a blinder next time. Everyone has an off day. I have a wide circle of friends, all of whom I love to bits. My boyfriend Jon (Ze Bear) is great, I love him lots and he's just as much of a rubbish pisshead as me. I live in an awesome house with Maz and Liss and sometimes Marion shouts at me for being drunk and loud. I love going out and getting hammered with my mates and I can often be found talking shite at someone in the Canal or Planet. If I've ever bored you with my tales of whimsy, I apologise. I wish I could tell you that I had a bunch of cool hobbies but I don't. I tend to find going to work, being drunk and being hungover are my usual states of being, punctuated occasionally with some uni work and a state of mild panic if I have a deadline coming up. I do read a lot though and am interested in the American Civil War and the history of the Civil Rights movement. All my favourite stuff can be found over there but I do like looking at hot men, watching good films, eating nice food and reminiscing about how great it was when I used to smoke.
