Orbit Anime has been established since May of 1993. We started off as Orbit Comics selling comic books and hobbies. As the comic book industry was fading, Orbit gradually transformed from comics to anime. If you've been with us since 1993, most of you will remember Ranma. Why? Richard (the original and current owner of Orbit Comics) introduced most of us to watching Ranma and during the earlier days, Ranma was pretty much the only other anime out on the market besides Dragon Ball. Orbit's first location was in Monterey Park and in 1996 Orbit was relocated to the current location here in San Gabriel. Gradually, anime picked up around the late 90's and we were able to bring in more anime to our customers. In late of 2000, Richard decided to expand 2nd store in Walnut. Orbit Squared was officially in business in December 2000. Through this location, we met many people and made lots of friends.
