I'am a down to earth, laid back, relaxed type brutha doin my thing to achieve my goals and dreams. Currently a GRADUATING SENIOR at Tennessee State University. On my grown man ish, making major moves to try make something of myself in this crazy world.

I would like to meet like minded people who not about the drama. Im a real open minded person and really dont have the time to deal wit negative people but if u tryin to hold an intellectual conversation and not just "shoot the shit"...lol.. holla at ya boi

I LOVE NEO SOUL...........ERYKAH BADU, LAURYN HILL, ALICIA KEYS, COMMON, THE ROOTS, MOS DEF, FLOETRY, DONNIE, JOSS STONE, just to name a few Im a big fan of rap and R&B too.

Movies:

Im a big black romance buff... LOVE JONES, BROWN SUGAR, and JASON'S LYRIC is my all time favorite.I LOVE comedy,action, and horror flicks from time to time.

Television:

THE WIRE.... and if anybody remembers.. THE CORNER?..lol... i also love the oldies but goodies....MARTIN, LIVIN SINGLE, IN LIVING COLOR, THE COSBY SHOW, STEVE HARVEY... and my some off yall know i love WILL & GRACE... Im feeling some other shows right now ... like GREEK, ROOM 401, S.O.B, HELL DATE, & MEET THE FAITH...

Books:

THE PACT, RASING FENCES, THE COVENANT, OUR KIND OF PEOPLE, are just a few of the books that i have read and enjoyed... right now im reading A HAND TO GUIDE ME, by DENZEL WASHINGTON, and THE AUDACITY OF HOPE, by Bararack Obama.... and every sunday ... THE BIBLE ( a must read)....

Heroes:

My personal heroes are the many black women in my life that help mold me to know how to treat a women, how to stand strong and maintain in hard times, and how to express my emotions with out neccassarly being weak. -MIDA...lol.. ( my moms) -VERNET.. (my god mother) -DATEY.. ( my grandmother) -MS. ROY.. (my god-grandmother) and others, they kno who they areThe black men who have impacted my life beyond measure and allowed me to see how a BLACK MAN should be, so many that may have been in my life for only a season but taught me a lesson that lasted a lifetime; even if they didnt realize it at the time.. -BAM BAM.. (my step dad) -my few black males teachers, adminstrators, mentors..My others heroes who i strive to immulate and hope to somehow make the same impact that they have within our society by just merely pushin for change. -Huey P.
