The Child Abuse Summit and Family Violence Conference is a conference targeted for professionals working in the areas of child abuse, neglect and domestic violence. The Summit, as it has become known over its 9-year history, is hosted by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. The goal is to educate professionals on the complex issues associated with child abuse and family violence, to broaden the professional’s knowledge base in multiple areas and increase the individual disciplines understanding of the other agencies roles and responsibilities.
Our theme, “The Power of One in Collaboration with Others,†continues throughout the Summit as we learn new ways to work together to protect and make each child safe in our communities.
We appreciate your support of this training and this profile. You can find more information at www.childabusesummit.com. You can also call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and ask for the Summit Coordinator, Julie Smith, 503-655-8218.
