Jamie and Alice met in Oxford in 2005, and spent a year or so bumping into each other at various musical events before eventually deciding to work together. As a duo they combine fiddle with guitar/melodeon/fiddle, playing mainly traditional tunes, with the occasional foray into gypsy jazz.
As well as being regulars at Oxford's notorious Half Moon session they have appeared as a duo at local venues, including One Night Stand in Witney and the Acoustic Ballroom in Wallingford. Recent appearances in 2007 include headlining at Woodstock Live! and in 2008 they took the Oxford Folk Festival by storm.
