Jess Gertsen

A rock drummer by heart but always seeking out new avenues in music, which have led me down the jazz, big band and blues path. Over 500 live jobs under the belt primarily playing cover music in local clubs, but also playing and backing local artist or own project. As a musician I am always in the process of homing my skills – getting more integrated parts in my vocabulary and getting deeper into the music. I pride myself of having learned my profession as a drummer on the road – playing shows and connecting with people through music. Currently I am playing with the original act, Dance With Dirt – 5 hard rocking musicians. Apart from that I am involved in the coverband Genbrug playing in clubs and at parties together with two good friends.
