Born and raised in flint MI, VonRoyce is the new era of swaggerific hip hop.
Since age 12, he knew music was his calling! Growing up, music was his way to voice his outlook on what was going on around him. In 1993, VonRoyce and white lee released "blood on the wall" under the name "Criminal background" and have sold over 200,000 units. In 1994, VonRoyce and $Gripz also of Flint MI combined their songwriting, production and performance skills to create the "BALLA UNIT" (B.U.) The Balla Unit shot to stardom in 1994 and have worked and toured with some of hip hops greatest mc's.

VonRoyce has performed live @ more than 100 shows, before thousands of
fans and have followers by the millions. The "STOP PLAY'N" album is a reflection of the Balla Unit as a whole and the most highly anticipated album of the 2010. VonRoyce proves he can hold his own on songs like "Go hard n da Paint", "Get Bread" and "Shut'em Down" flaunt'n his northern accent and flexing verbally to the fullest.
