Musical History:
Mejdaji aka James Edward Garcia has performed and recorded many solo albums originally under the name Dimthings .. & later the name developed into Dimthingshine ..during the 1980's - early 1990's. The music was in the vein of prog rock / art rock mixed with jazz, funk, electronics, avant-garde, experimental, new music. As a multi-instrumentalist, many of these recordings were performed all by Dimthingshine. Some of these recordings have been re-mastered and re-issued on CD on the Thingsflux Music label. James has recently started recording once again as Dimthingshine and completed a CD project in January 2008.
He had played drums / percussion in many bands in every type style imaginable.. most notibly prog avant-jazz band "Ulterior Lux" & art alt noise band "Scraping Teeth". Had performed mostly in South Florida, but also in Europe, Connecticut, & New York. Had done several projects with bassist Jean Chaine. Did the soundtrack to a low budget movie.
Mejdaji aka James Edward Garcia has also started to record his own rock and roll music. He released a Full length CD and EP on the Thingsflux Music label in 2007 singing and playing everything himself. For this musical project he goes by the artist name: Dimthingshineon.
Had spent several years delving into Metaphysical - Occult - Spiritual - Religious studies. This lead to his interest in creative music again.. but from an esoteric, mystical, healing arts approach.
