Paulo 'QdNu' Yarisantos is a musician, artist, beatmaker and producer from Geelong, Australia who has many influences varying from a wide range of musical genres, especially electronic and hiphop music. At best, he spends most of the time in front of his desk, something he calls 'being in a space control room' and quite enjoys doing just that for the most part of the day. He has produced numerous tracks for local mcees and his work has been used for festivals and outreach programs both locally and interstate. 'Life, Beats And Faith Stories', his first album (featuring people that you really should check out if you haven't already) is his first offering and is now available online (@ mp3 stores like iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon Mp3 , etc). On other things, he has a project in the works with a soul/jazz singer from Brooklyn, New York and a follow-up album on the way with vocal appearances from like-minded peeps, something he aims to grow on. You might just choose to stay tuned as this guy believes rocking chairs though comfortable is really a guilty pleasure. Don't get me wrong, he is far from retiring age. He just chooses not to waste his time. Whether its cutting up a record, constructing a loop or putting soundtracks together to make a whole tune, whatever it may be, its a percentage he aims to meet at its fullest. 2008 has been good for this beat maker and due to the positive response from various peers and the continuous growing interest in the material he's been carefully putting together, I'd say 2009 would be something to look forward to. And this chap is quite happy with his work. As the words of Jesus, 'Ask and it shall be given you. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be opened'.
