Igor Wroblewski aka Arp Decade, born in 1981 in Wroclaw, Poland. After his philosophy studies he is now writing a dissertation on the free will of human beings and what philosophical methods can contribute to the current debate.Since his early childhood he learned several instruments by himself, especially synthesizers and guitar. Today he concentrates mainly on electronic music inspired by the most classical artists of this genre like Klaus Schulze or Tangerine Dream, but also appreciates Pete Namlook very much - as well as most of the artists collaborating with him: Tetsu Inoue, Steve Stoll, Bill Laswell, Jochem Paap, Sylvie Marks, Wolfram Spyra, to name only a few of them. Other artists who had great influence on Arp Decade's music are such diverse artists as Björk, Tori Amos, Mylene Farmer, RoBERT, Deine Lakaien, Depeche Mode, Antony and the Johnsons, King Crimson, Gustav Mahler, Alexander Skriabin...Arp Decade's most important focus is to try to "translate" the atmosphere of (mainly symbolistic) paintings into sounds - "Max Klinger's Tunnel" and "Degouve's Nocturne" are such try-outs. Arp Decade is also working on "sunnier" and occasionally "dancier" projects: he makes funk-house-lounge experiments together with LiveWireBeats. As far as filming is concerned, he mainly stands behind the camera and does the musical part for KIss My Arp, Karolina, but also occasionally works on his own projects which are characterized by slow motion pictures and concentration on atmosphere rather than plot and action.
