Anyone. Have a personality, be someone and chances are I might like you.
Every aspect of my existence seems to be somewhat influenced by music. I can sing a song to every imaginable occasion, quite often to the annoyance of everyone around. :) Generally, I like different kinds of music, anything with a great melody, but mostly Rock/Brit-Pop . Also, I'm very into musicals. Cats, Rent, Mamma Mia! and Wicked would be among my favorites. Les Miserables and Chicago also never fail to delight me. So I guess you could call my taste in music somewhat odd, although I prefer the term eclectic. Favorites arists/bands/singers of mine include Arctic Monkeys, Mando Diao, Joss Stone, Oasis, Panic! at the Disco, Death Cab For Cutie, Kelly Clarkson, Revolverheld, The Killers, Damien Rice, Liza Minnelli and Sutton Foster. Also, behind closed doors, I am hopelessly obsessed with the A*Teens.
American Beauty, L.A. Crash, The Pianist, Good Will Hunting, Spiceworld (and proudly so), Good-Bye Lenin, Lost in Translation, Brokeback Mountain, Million Dollar Baby, 8 Frauen, Ray, Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain, L'Auberge Espagnol, A Beautiful Mind, Napoleon Dynamite, Philadelphia. To be continued and not necessarily in that order.
Not really all that much into television, but if I had to pick, I'd go for all of the below: Tuerkisch fuer Anfaenger (don't ask), Sex and The City, MTV Made (it's gratifying to see how far whiny and pathetic individuals can go when given proper training), Kuttner. (they cancelled it!! What do I do?!), David Letterman.
Very into books. I admire John Grishman, but I also like Steinbeck, Miller, Rowling etc. So in case you care, here's a list (by no means complete): The Wishing Game (Redmond), The DaVinci Code (Brown), Je l'aimais and also Je voudrais que quelqu'un m'attende quelque part (Gavalda), 'Tis (McCourt), The Pelican Brief (Grisham) Grapes of Wrath (Steinbeck), Russendisko (Kaminer), Der Vorleser (Schlink), Die Wahlverwandtschaften (Goethe), Brave New World (Huxley), any short story by Oscar Wilde...
Kathy Tyers is my personal hero, a constant source of support and inspiration.
