Open Casket are a four piece old school death metal onslaught from Cork. We have been together (fully) since February 2006 and have been writing original metal since. Our first demo "Rivers Of Blood" was recorded in July '07 and is available now, if anyone would like to purchase it simply contact us here or e-mail: [email protected]. The band is set to record a new EP of more brutal material this Summer.
Some of the highlights of the band's short career so far have been supporting one of our biggest influences Suffocation in Cork in April '08, Master in February '07 and with Ephel Duath and Negura Bunget in May '07 and Necrophagist in October '06. We've also have taken part in Cork's ever growing Winterfest in its first two years of existence.
