performance, the body, the mind, the breath, the heart, energy. especially, and most frighteningly, the eyes. and tears. [but i don't cry enough [or meditate enough [or at all>.] i'm learning massage. i like performance texts and have been writing some that cause individuals to come into close contact so they can listen to one another. there's nothing to be afraid of (thank you blake williams). i'm interested in borders and their betrayal. interested in auras (can't see them though - rather, can see them, but don't know that i can yet). changing states, the inbetween, the gray... dig?
darn good friendly folks
i also like meeting people who like participating in situations i conjure; if you breathe or beat, consider yourself invited...
::: UPDATE :::
i'm now capable of instant messaging AND video conferencing. find me thru iChat as IM-user 'plus1plus1plus'...
lately i find the ringing in my ears to be fairly interesting. i don't meditate very much, but if i did i would practice nada yoga where you plug your ears with your fingers and sit and listen to the 10 anahata ("unstruck") sounds in your head.
other than that, i don't listen to much music anymore, just in the car where i listen to oldies and sing along at top volume: shellac, velvet underground, cat power, don caballero, radiohead, chet baker, keith jarrett, etc. lame right?
oh yeah, just remembered - one of my favorites of all time:
