M.A.D. Youth is a youth-led philanthropic committee of the WCF, focused on providing grants to encourage and develop a strong and vibrant youth culture in the Southern Highlands.
What that basically means is that we have money to give away for youth projects. All you have to do is keep an ear out for one of our granting rounds and apply. Its not hard, and you can do anything that benefits Young People in the Southern Highlands (within the guidelines, which change each year)...Basically, we're making this area a little more interesting for anyone under 25!
M.A.D. Youth has been running since 2003, and during that short time we've already granted over $30,000 to youth projects such as Bangers & Mosh, artistic, cultural and charity events, programs for disadvantaged young people in the area, funding for 92.5 Youth radio, as well as educational programs such as U-Turn The Wheel.
We've also run forums and festivals linking young people with the wider community, providing information on youth issues and giving youth in the area a voice.
But we still need your help!
