"... born in Bari (Italy) by nigerian parents immigrated in Italy in 1978. Their passion for african tribal beats and love for raggae music provided me unconsciously basis of my musical knowledge, marked obviously by african rhythms. Growing up in a nation far from the influences of the so called black music, works involving me during my childhood, regarded various artist as James Brown, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Barry White etc. Later, joining Rap, even more rap works were dicovered with LL Cool J, De La soul, Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill etc., till to be totally upset by the smashing lyrics of Wu-Tang Clan in the first half of 90s. The gradual approach to hh music and culture let my unexpressed creativity come out by interpreting the art of breaking, which became, as soon, love for HYPE, NEW STYLE and HOUSE DANCE. Thanks to intensive practices with well-knowed HH theachers/dancers as Giggas(SP), Marisa Ragazzo, Omid(Da Cru), Laccio, Shake(Phe_to), Fritz(Treeboo) Meech, Rabah(O..Trip House), as also the influences of KRUMPIN, an artistic move based on the contemporary "urban dance" has gradually taken form. Artistic move getting its roots in a costant study of gesture and in the practising, all mixed to an essential element: the instinct! Artistic move getting certainly benefit from a side by side enlargement of my taste for music, which thrives on all that concerns Hip Hop Underground, Experimental, Funk, Soul, R&B, Trip-hop and House. Today, I consider me lucky and onored to be a SILENT POETS DANCE SQUAD..s member, sharing with Yoko, Vinz, Cecca, Shake-D and Giggas (coreographer/dancer). I respect them all and value our brotherhood.
