Indo-G

About Me

At quite a young age Indo-G started listening to hiphop music. It was because of the commercial successes of rappers like De La Soul, 2 live crew, LL Cool J, Run DMC, in the late 80's that he became a major fan of the back then underrated artform called Hiphop. In the beginning of the 90's he started to write his own rhymes, influenced by artists such as Public Enemy, Kam, Paris, Brand Nubian, EPMD, Rakim, Ice Cube, NWA, Dj Quik, CMW etc. As an artist Indo-G stays true to the roots as you can hear the influences of old school artists in his music. His music does not just stick to one style but is rather diverse. His songs vary from being a militant and conscious rapper, who talks about his visions and personal experiences in life, to a lyrical mc using methaphors and punchlines to give it to ya raw on the beat. After being a fan of hiphop for many years, and writing rhymes for several years, Indo-G met a DJ/ producer named Dynasty aka Trackstar in 1999. Trackstar and his older brother Strike 1 were well known DJ's/producers in the area of Limburg (located at the south east of the Netherlands). Trackstar and Strike 1 were both members of a hiphop group from Venray called the Freaky Force Crew. Ever since Indo-G and Trackstar hooked up, the two of them are makin' tracks together.
