About Me

August 3, 2008

I'm 28, work for a non-profit trying to fight cancer, and finally have come around to updating my MySpace information as well as overall look.

In addition, if you stop by over the next few months, the pictures I post will look very different. The reason for this is that I am currently growing out my hair so I can donate it for real hair wigs that cancer patients can then receive for free. I have never had my hair this long and it is taking some getting used to - but it is for a great cause, so I can suck it up for a bit.

Oh, and one more thing. If the Chicago Cubs can break through to the World Series this year, I am already planning on going into even more massive debt so I can see them play in Wrigley. This has been a dream of mine since I was 5 - and well - 2008 looks like it could truly be their year!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet someone near my age to either become foodie friends, hang out friends, or hell, if everything went spectacularly, maybe a long term relationship. (When I say near my age, I am looking at 25-34 for the most part - but like most things, that is not set in stone.)

Personally, it would be nice to just have people in the real world to hang out with, text message randomly and see if dinner or a movie would work without much notice without expectations of sex or hooking up.

Also, I tend to have low numbers of friends because I don't randomly add people just for the hell of it. It is also why you can't just add me out of the blue without taking some time to message me on here or to try to get to know me. :)

Movies:

Favorites:

Contact, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Great Recommendations:

INTJ - It actually means something to me...

I am directly lifting this from my LJ posting... but wanted it on here as well since this is my new obsession and LJ will always be my classic love. Plus, I appreciate the random MySpace searches toni...
