About Me

Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle
This collaboration was one of the greatest surprises of the year! On the one hand, the group Ultra Orange, led by the duo Gil Lesage/Pierre Emery, one of the most “velvet” rock groups there is. On the other, the arousing Emmanuelle Seigner, unforgettable actress of “Lune de fiel”, “Frantic” and more recently “La Môme” and “Le scaphandre et le papillon”. These three were destined to meet … and the fantastic album born of their collaboration is there to prove it! Not to be missed!
McQueen
With a first album showered with praise (“Break the Silence” appeared last January) and some choice first-half performances (Foo Fighters, Kaiser Chiefs, Juliette & the Licks and above all, on 25 June last, Aerosmith), the four girls of McQueen are in full sail. It should be said that these four have sent more than one rocker back to the drawing board! Punchy forthright rock, which would not be disowned by Courtney Love and Hole! Don’t miss the McQueen invasion!
Plastiscines
“Four not so innocent angel faces, a calm look of “we’ve got what it takes”, a detachment of students who preferred electricity to study”, is how the Plastiscines are described by their label! Musically, their influences go from Blondie to the Ronettes via the Ramones and the Libertines. Virgin did not hesitate for a second, signing them even before they had recorded demos. They appeared on the cover of the March issue of Rock & Folk and all Paris seems to be under their spell. That is probably just the beginning!
Krause
Krause is something of a spiritual cousin of Peaches… but much more sexy! Base under her arm, she emits her electro discharges and unruly rhythms like a metronome. Her first single (the very explicit “I lost my tampon”) very soon became a hit in all switched-on Dutch clubs and today her future looks extremely promising. This will be her first appearance on Luxembourg soil after her much vaunted performance at the last Eurosonic festival.
Tying Tiffany
Formerly a member of Suicide Girls (a horde of tattooed and pierced girls with a 100% rock and roll attitude parading like real models), Tying Tiffany very rapidly took to the music. The result is entirely in her image: electro, rock and clash, her “bare” past adding a rather heretical side to her live performances which could well leave you more than stunned! “Brain for Breakfast”, her new album, will soon be released on the legendary hardcore/punk label I Scream Records! Don’t be late!
