Royal Canadian Bass Force from Vancouver Island

About Me

Featuring the new Debut CD "Search for Weapons of BASS Destruction"
An album featuring Jazz Funk R&B Reggae Spoken Word, as varied as the band members are.
A Canadian Forces Band composed of only bass guitars and drums for special missions,
where no guitars can safely go. A band of "Brothers" and one "Sister" in arms who,
should they be captured, the Canadian government will deny any knowledge of them or their mission

Their Debut Cd "Search for Weapons of Bass Destruction" was recorded on the base in Nanaimo,
on the west coast of Canada, as well as numerous times in the cargo bay of
a CF-130 Hercules transport plane while in flight.
The band features 4 Bass guitarists (no six strings or keyboards) and the beat techinques of ,
our female combat drummer Sgt Pearl Ludwig.

Band Members:
1/ Liutenant Rickenbacher raised on the prairies where the best fly boys are culitivated, however lost his nerve and was grounded to hangar duty at CFB Comox. Forming a band of brothers with a common bond of bass guitars, he hand picked a team of special ops, an eltie squad of bass guitars to go where no six strings could go.
2/ Sargent Helmut Fender retired from Joint Task Force 2 (see www.jtf2.forces.gc.ca) and took up bass guitar and opened a small arms store in Coombs B.C. on vancouver Island
3/ Captain Epiphone left the forces following the operation replacing part of his skull with a steel plate and moved to Qualicum Beach and perfected his slap and pops on his bass.
4/ Warrant officer Gibson was discharged over an incident playing his bass guitar while on radar duty , He now lives in trailer in Cedar B.C.
5 / The lone female member of the mission, avionics specialist and drummer - Sgt Pearl Ludwig is still on active duty - She is the band's driving force, the drummer and specializes in improvising mouth hip-hop beats,
Influences: Sounds of engines and props and live ordinances hiiting their target have thier own sense of beat and rhythm
Sounds Like: That American Air Force funk band - "Live Rounds" stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California
