Lotus

On March 17,1986,the now oldest of 3 siblings,Lotus,was born in New Haven,CT.Raised by a single parent and growing up in urban surroundings within West Haven,CT wasn't the easiest at times.Catching a glimpse of reality at a young age,from scraping with neighborhood adolescents to substance abuse,broken relationships,and the death of a very close relative,were just a few of the many obstacles on a long road in the quest to be something memorable.At a time he was in need of occupying his mind, employment opportunites weren't exactly stacking in his favor,therefore he resorted to hustling in means of survival.Times were stressful and having grown up around, and adopting a love for music, he began writing.He soon developed a thick skin to compete with the negativity and shady individuals in his way.Now 23 years of age, he has taken a seriousness to his art form and his music speaks for itself.A lyrical journal of sorts, he has opened up and released a realistic outlook.<
