About Me

Singer Spotlight Unplugged is a monthly showcase brought to you by Singer Spotlight Productions. Appealing to the novice as well as the seasoned singer-songwriter or band vocalist, Singer Spotlight Unplugged gives one a chance to either stretch their musical talents outside of their typical repertoire or offer the opportunity to promote their craft, learn from their peers and establish a network of other industry professionals. It's also about a musician connecting with their audience in an unplugged setting.Each Singer Spotlight Unplugged show features the host artist and four guest artists and takes place the last Thursday of each month at 9:0 0 PM at Uncommon Ground, not only voted Chicago’s Best Coffee House but also nationally recognized for hosting touring musicians (773/465-9801) at 1401 W. Devon Ave., Chicago).Perks selected artists receive: 1) 25-minute set 2) allowed to sell CDs & merchandiseInterested local artists, please send email message of interest and webpage link. Singer Spotlight Unplugged will hold its summer series at the Uncommon Ground Devon Street location May through August 2009.
