This Space is dedicated to my fellow Hmong Brothers and Sisters from the Jungle of Laos Who does not have a Voice
.. Dear fellow Brothers and Sisters of the World: This is Our message to you. We are the quite voices calling out for your help deep in the mountainous jungle of Laos. We are your Hmong Brothers and Sisters who is brought up in a conflict, which has been going on for more than 30 years. It is so upsetting to hear that some people categorize us “Hmong-in-hiding†as resistance groups, but in reality, we are just trying to run away from the Laos and Vietnamese military, which is chasing and killing us. We are trying to avoid any contact with the military, we are afraid to come out, that’s why we are hiding. All we have for protection are old, rusty guns, left over from the Vietnam War. Those of us who have 2-3 bullets will only use them if we are attacked, but that is not out of active resistance. We will only use these bullets to help save time from our running women and children. We fled into the jungles during the Vietnam War in the 1970’s in fear of the New Communist Laos Government. Some of us are first, second and third generation of parents, who have been former CIA soldiers, recruited by the United States to prevent the spread of communism during the Vietnam conflict, but most of us in-hiding are also innocent villagers, women and children, who fled into the safety of the remote jungles. Now we are trapped and surrounded by military forces and we are simply hiding out of fear. Since the Vietnam War ended, more than twenty thousand of us, who did not have a chance to escape Laos, have been subjected to genocide. This word should not be used lightheartedly; we are being hunted down and killed like animals. It is a fact, that the current military aggressions are not simply a revenge for former involvement of the Hmong people in the Vietnam War, but we are also being targeted for “live military training†by the Laos and Vietnamese military forces. If caught by the soldiers, we are subjected to torture without pity, mutilated and chopped into pieces. Girls and women get gang-raped and innocent children are subjected to getting their bellies slit open with their intestines hanging out so they suffer a slow death. This is also a tactic that these soldiers used as a form to put fear and panic into the parents of these children for trying to put back together their child. Those of us who decided to come out of hiding meet an uncertain fate. Many get murdered as soon as they get caught, others tried to run as far as they can and we assume they are dead. We are surrounded; soldiers are everywhere, shooting at us every day. The Laos and Vietnamese military are trying every possible way to root out everyone of us from every possible angle. They are basically using starvation as their main weapon of war. We have no way to search for wild food, we are always on the run for our lives. Chemical Weapons used in killing us by poisoning our food, makes it very hard for us to find anything to eat. Most of us are dying each day from starvation and health problems as a result of these Chemical Weapons. We are your Hmong Brothers and Sisters and we dying every day, we are weak, sick, and very, very afraid. Too many of our people have been killed. We’ve lost too many of our loved ones. We are hopeless little people. Our voices are not being heard. And we will die if the World will not help us. We Hope and Pray everyday for salvation, the World, please hear our dispread Prayers, Cries and Pleads for help. This is what we have to say for now. Please help us extend our message to the World. We hope that one day we will be able to meet Face to Face. Truly, Your Hmong Brothers and Sisters from the Jungle of Laos.Press Release Update LinksUpdates on HMONG Lao in Thailand-Laos - Posted On Going

For visiting Whisper From The Jungle and thank you, to the individuals who continues to help support our efforts. We continue to strive for justice and peace, for those who were left behind from the Secret War and are trapped in the jungles of Laos. Our fellow Brothers and Sisters need your prayers and hope the Power of God will guide us to success and a day of peace. We need you to speak out against the injustice and ask that you please express your concerns with the President of the United States, Congressman and Senators. It is time that we take a stand for those Who are Voiceless.
