I am a little different from most females... I am not self absorbed nor do I think I am the sh*t. But I do know that this is the only life I am going to get so I am going to try to make the best of it.
I like to meet new people, because there is nothing more interesting then someone you don't know. I enjoy stimulating conversation and especially from people who know how to carry one on. Don't you just hate it when you meet someone and at first glance they seem interesting and you get excited about someone "New" only to find that they are the most boring person you have ever met!?! Sucks, yeah I know!
One of the most important things that I personally have learned in my life is that everyone who is "Friendly" isn't always "Nice"! You have to realize that people who you think are your "Friends" aren't always and know that no one will love you if you don't love your self. Respect is something that is earned and true friends are the most precious gift that one can give them self!
Come on let's be real... things happen and that's the best way to look at life. Because that pretty much makes you ready for just about anything. I have been through a lot of sh*t in my years, God knows that I wouldn't wish half of what I have fought and struggled with on ANYONE, but I am a better person for keeping my head up and smiling through the pain and tears. When you're at the bottom, the only place you can go is up, right?
I have been blessed to find love in my life. From dear friends and family members and those teenage love affairs in the past. When people tell you that it is better to have loved and lost than never to love at all... it's true. In 2002 I found the love of my life, or maybe I should say he found me. He is my best friend, my soulmate and everything that I have ever asked for in a man and I wouldn't trade him for the world! I can't wait for him to come home so our life as a family can start!
When you find that person you hold onto them, you choose your battles that you argue about and you make sure that every single day you tell them that you love them because you never know when your last day with them will be?!?
Kourtney Cavel Tucker is the one true person on the face of this planet that knows the "Real" me. Of all the times in the past when I thought I had found "True Love" I really hadn't! Because with Kourtney I am a different person... I don't ever have to fake or front or feel as if he will look down on me for any of the things in my past or the mistakes that I have yet to make. He makes me want to be a better person and gives me all the support a woman could ever want AND need. He is right there with me, cheering me on to acomplish my dreams and goals and when I fall down, he reaches out his hand and pulls me back up. I love this wonderful man who at one time was nothing more than a friend. God has blessed me and I have never been more happy!
So if you are on myspace looking for someone to fall in love with... good luck! And if you are looking for someone to just "Hook Up" with... you need a hobby! Seriously... casual sex isn't cool, damn haven't you heard of HIV and STDs?!?!? Now don't get me wrong, I'm no saint, I've had my day but when you become an adult, you need to act like one. It's our responsibility to be good role models for our youth because they are the FUTURE and if you're too busy with one night stands... or just hook up's... what do you think that say's about YOU?
