..FRESHCUTS is the hottest and freshest new band on the scene! Starting out it was all about jamming, when BRANDON HARGIS, A.K.A. B FRESH (lead / rhythm guitar), and DREW JAMES (bass) linked for the first time. From the start their unique styles seemed to mesh perfectly no matter what genre they played. As time went by they realized they had a captivating sound that could rock the Kansas City scene and beyond. Soon they started searching for the two missing pieces of the puzzle, a lead singer and a drummer. Filling the void at lead singer came simple as ZAC RYAN would come over and jam as much as possible. The only complication was Zac had a solo career that was starting to blossom, which led to him leaving the country to record in Kingston, Jamaica. So Brandon Hargis and Drew James shifted their concentration and started sifting through several drummers. At first they had a hard time finding a drummer that would fit there unique style. Then in the fall of 2007 they found that final missing piece in a unstoppable drummer named COMMALEE, who has been in several well known bands in the KC area such as FREAKSONIT and KAO KYEN. As the band started rehearsing it was clear that the magic was starting to happen. Growing closer to November the band knew Zac would be back in KC for the holidays. Thanksgiving came and Zac was back from releasing his first single with BANKZ 2 BANX PRODUCTIONS
