‘RADI8’ The story so far...
2005 saw the creation of Radi8 by it’s chief residents Jumby & Scotty.A. Inspired by fond memories of Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and the gallery, they followed a vision to bring upfront underground dance to East Anglia. Radi8 has prided itself on providing a journey of music from progressive house & electro through to uplifting trance. It is by far the boldest promotion in the local scene, venturing where no other has before.
Over the last few years Radi8 has seen the likes of several different venues and has promoted the finest local talent. One of Radi8’s greatest successes to date was the launch of Dan Stone’s first major release on the world famous ‘Anjunabeats’ label. It was a superb event and made radi8 what it is today.
Radi8 has now found its spiritual home at the ‘Mustard Lounge’, an intimate night spot in the heart of Norwich. A venue which is renowned for its support of underground dance music and its ever growing popularity. Radi8 is currently pushing towards bringing more unique international trance and progressive house artists to the decks in its new home. It’s a dance event which has gone from strength to strength and will strive to continue in its quest to offer a superior genre of music to local clubbers.
