il duo shurk nasce nel febbraio 2002 al circolo zuni di ferrara. shurk è composto da lisei haardt-spaeth (fisarmonica e voce) e renzo marzocchi (basso, percussioni e voce). il duo riarrangia vecchi brani di musica klezmer (musica ebraica dell'est europa) e di musica balcanica, proponendo anche canzoni di propria composizione. shurk ha suonato in circoli privati, ristoranti, agriturismi, manifestazioni pubbliche (mostre, fiere, teatri, scuole, festival, letture a tema). il duo ha partecipato per quattro anni al festival klezmer di ancona (2004, 2005, 2006 e 2007). inoltre ha suonato alla libera università di alcatraz di jacopo fo, al buskers festival di ferrara nel 2003 el nel 2008, al festival suoni della murgia 2008 e all'ariano folkfestival 2008. per strada ha suonato in spagna e portogallo nell’estate 2004, in belgio e francia nel inverno 2006 e a cipro nella primavera 2008.*******************************************************
**********the duo shurk was founded in february 2002 in ferrara by the musicians Lisei haardt-spaeth (accordion and voice) and renzo marzocchi (e-bass, little bass drum and voice). the repertoire of shurk consists of traditional klezmer and balcan music rearranged by duo shurk as well as works composed by the group. the duo plays on the road, in clubs, parties, restaurants, agriturism, fairs, exhibitions, theatres, schools, festivals, lectures and weddings, shurk has played for four years at the klezmer festival ancona (2004-2007), at the free university of alcatraz of jacopo fo, at the buskers festival of ferrara in 2003 and 2008, at the festival della murgia and at the ariano folk festival. on the road the duo played in italy, spain, portugal, belgium, france and cyprus.*****************************************************
************das duo shurk ist im februar 2002 im zuni club in ferrara entstanden. das repertoire besteht aus alten klezmerstücken und balkanmusik, die vom duo rearrangiert worden sind und aus stücken, die das duo selbst komponiert hat. shurk spielt auf der straße, in clubs, auf partys, in restuarants, in agriturismen, auf volksfesten, im theater, in schulen, bei lektüren, auf hochzeiten und auf festivals. das duo hat für vier jahre am klezmer festival ancona (2004-2007), zweimal am festival buskers ferrara (2003 und 2008), am festival della murgia (2008) und am ariano folk festival (2008) teilgenommen und hat in der freien universität alkatraz von jacopo fo gespielt. außerdem hat shurk in italien, spanien, portugal, belgien, frankreich und zypern auf der straβe gespielt.
