Elena was at the center of the most famous custody battle in history. Her mother Dr. Elizabeth Morgan was jailed for trying to protect Elena from an abusive father. Elena ended up in exile in New Zealand. This story was on the front cover of magazines and newspapers and the top story on talk shows and news shows for years.

Elena recently completed a PSA with CHRISTINA RICCI for the Rainn Organization which helps victims of sexual abuse and rape. Elena is now also a part of the Fashion for Rainn Campaign and Rock Your Fashion with which she will be touring later in 2009, playing her music for her fans.
