(Blakeslee, Sandra. 2007)Stijn's the name. Born in the eighties I grew up in Limburg, Belgium and had the chance when I was younger to live abroad for a year. Canada was a great experience and ever since then I have been bitten by the travelbug. I have seen several places in the world but hardly enough compared to what it has to offer. Therefore one of my goals in life still is to see the world.I am not only interested in travelling but also a lot in electronic music, art & design, food & cooking, snowboarding and other cultures.When it comes to music I am pretty much addicted to psychedelic trance so since my mind is all that I'm spinning psytrance as a dj since almost 3 years. On my own and with my Sunstra we try to create new, powerful and danceable atmospheres. It’s very nice to see our evolution in this musical journey. We used to organise the monthly PsyThursdays at The Zoo club in Hasselt.In december the French label Escape Records (hail to the music) took us under their wings and we promote their music for Belgium.Playing in Indonesia on the Gili’s, at Nova’s and monthly at the Zoo i feel the crowd dancing to this music, probably the best feeling with music I’ve ever had.I am a Graphic Designer and currently work at PINKEYE, Antwerp. In my (little) free time I design flyers and other, and I am currently looking for work.Living on a quiet hill, in the agricultural part of the province - near Belgium’s oldest city Tongeren - with me lady, I enjoy walks in the field, sniffing up the fresh air, bbq’s in the backyard with some friends, making a culinary meal occasionally and playing heaps of music of course. I love to party and dance my ass off, have a good laugh and live life to the fullest.I will never forget the true meaning of what I once read somewhere: “Never throw stones at people or places you know absolutely nothing about, as the odds are, once you have been there and met the people, you will totally regret your small-minded judgements.”....
