About Me

What to say...what to say? Well, I'm 29 years old. I live in Mount Joy, Pa. I work full time for a Judge and attend class at night, majoring in Psychology. It took me a long time to get to a comfortable point in my life. I made a few mistakes along the way, but now life is generally good, with the exception of never having enough down time. I don't have any kids, pets or plants as I am horrible at keeping things alive. I have a small but loyal group of friends. Some of the best people in the world, in my humble opinion. I learned awhile ago that it's not the number of people you know and have sinced dumped alot of people out of the picture. There are two people in this world I need to say I'm sorry to, but for living 28 years I think that's not too bad. One of them knows why Im sorry and the other doesnt, but both are thought about everyday and hopefully one day I can say what I need to say. I enjoy travel, books and all things Civil War. Kind of a history nerd in general but the Civil War is my main area of interest. I also love movies and have collected a gross number of dvd's over the past few years. Random facts: Pro choice, Pro Stem Cell research, Pro Gun rights. I bite my nails really bad and find it impossible to stop. I want to retire in Italy and have been learning Italian (although I'm still not very good) in the hopes of making life easier when that dream is realized. I'd like to meet:

On here or just in general? On here, just old friends that I've lost touch with over the years. I've known a lot of great people in my life but found it all too easy not to stay in touch. I'd like to fix that....In general, I would give up my first born to meet the Dali Lhama. I think he is the most amazing soul we have on earth right now. I would like to meet the author Clive Barker (see "books") because his books inspire me. Shelby Foote, a civil war author, is also someone I'd like to spend time with. I've seen a lot of interviews with him and have learned a ton from him but I know there would be nothing like a face to face interview. As far as celebs go, Christian Bale, Heath Ledger or David Beckham. I'd like to have a "sexy party" with all 3 of them.

Music:

Johnny Cash, Queen, Journey, U2, Billy Joel, 80's (big time!) Aerosmith, The Bouncing Souls,The Bloodhound Gang, The Killers, The Darkness... as with all my interests, a wide variety. I choose music to fit my mood.

Movies:

Television:

Somehow, I got caught up in the whole "Lost" thing. Also a huge . I think it's one of the best written shows ever. And one of my all time favorites.....

Books:

Anything by Clive Barker, Hunter S. Thompson, David Sedaris, Gregory Maguire or Shelby Foote. I also enjoy the Harry Potter seris and all things Dave Eggers.....he's amazing. I read a lot so I'll leave it at that
