About Me

I've been a comic fan for 30+ years, and have roughly 10 years professional experience in the industry thanks to working as a writer/editor at Wizard magazine (as well as ToyFare, Anime Insider, Toy Wishes, etc). You can learn the full sordid history hereI also created and maintain ComicBookMarks.com a directory of official professional websites for the comic/toy/gaming/anime industries. If you're a comics professional (writer, editor, publisher, convention coordinator, organization, etc.) who has a website, please let me know and I'll be sure to add you. I'm currently NOT including fan sites or online comics, solely people connected to printed comics.Oh, I'm also the co-author of "Writers on Comics Scriptwriting 2," a sort of How-To-Write book based on a series of interviews I conducted with Brian K Vaughan, Brian Michael Bendis, Bill Willingham, Geoff Johns, Dave Sim, Bruce Jones, Ed Brubaker and Brian Azzarello. If you bought or read a copy, thank you. You're one of the 6 non-family members who did.

Mike Wieringo R.I.P.

One of my favorite artists (and people) Mike Wieringo passed away this weekend. I'm shocked, depressed, and will miss the guy tremendously. His Flash work caught my eye, and his Spider-Man is my favor...
