Hello! We are "UniVox" jazz vocal group. Our band was formed in 1999 by the students and teachers of the "G.Muzicescu Academy jf music" in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. UniVox singers : Viola Julea(soprano),Georgeta Burlacu(alto), Ilona Stepan(alto), Marcel Etco(tenor), Valerii Vantu(tenor), Andrei Otean(bariton), Nicolai Andrus(bas). The preferable music of the UniVox performance is a jazz music and folk music - the a capela one. A special highlight was the UniVox participation in the Master class' whith well know jazz singerrs and pianists : Anca Pargel(vocal)Belgium, Mihail Alperin(piano)Norway, Ivan Paduard(piano)Belgium. The UniVox jazz vocal group counts it a privilege to be able to participate in many national and international contests and fetivals : "Martisor" Chisinau(2000,2006,2007), "Jazz Weekend" Chisinau(1999,2000), "Intact" Cluj Napoca(Romania,2003), "FIMU" Belfort (France,2000,2001), New Impro Music festival 2002(), international ethnojazz festival "Trigon"(2004,2005).In April 2004 UniVox won the 3-d place at the international competition - festival "DODJ"(Donetsk,Ucrain). In November 2006 UniVox participated in national festival "The days of Moldova in Belarus".
