Originally started as a place for those who wished to carry on through! after all other nights had ended, Jayshouse began with good friends Dan, Jay n Kev organising a small after party for close friends and a few others to continue through all day Sunday. After just a few weeks this escalated into a full blown afterparty attracting 100 people week in week out. Through word of mouth alone what began with just a few friends grew into the only underground afterparty to be at on a Sunday. The name 'Jayshouse' came about when people began to leave Bushwackers looking for another place to go(Jays apartment/house which is how the phrase came about.."Take me back to Jayshouse" Recently due to the rapidly growing numbers of people coming back to jays apartment we were forced to look for another venue to house this extra demand. Jayshouse@thebasements launch was an explosive success with people from all over attending with the basement packed to capacity. Now the biggest underground name in Birmingham attracting 300+ crowds on a weekly basis with its unique across the board music style playing host to some of Birminghams + Londons biggest Dj's with some of the hottest and fastest rising talent joining them! now jayshouse becomes the if u want if@bushwhackers official afterparty and moves to the new home of concrete @jewellery quarter,birmingham,b18 6np.Going from strength 2 strength we never intend 2 stop!!!!!
