The Bakers

About Me

.. ..

Vintage amps, jarring drums, alluring vocals and take-no-prisoner lyrics...
Brandon Heise (vocals, guitar), Andrew (Zimmy) Zimmerman (vocals, bass) and Erik Gunderson (drums) apart are three of the Midwest's most sought-after musical talents. Together, they comprise one of the region's few indie rock bands toting an unapologetic penchant for punchy originals. Their refusal to jump on the cover-band bandwagon paired with always-packed live performances at places like Mill Creek, Cranky Pat's and Points East are a testament to The Bakers' determination to produce rock music in its purest form.
Show by show, the trio's taken Wisconsin by storm, touring with fellow scene-stealers like Verona Grove, not only winning over fans but becoming a favorite band amongst area musicians and record producers. On GoDIY Records since 2008, the band hits the studio spring-summer 2009 to lay tracks for its new full-length album. When summer hits, fans can expect plenty of waves as The Bakers really start rocking the indie music scene.
Fans now can get their indie rock fix with The Bakers on TWITTER , and follow the band behind the scenes into Rock Garden studio this month!
