About Me

MaXinatoR was founded in late October 2006 as a result of three-hour-long jamsession of it’s would-be members. Can’t say that we were very exited about music we made that day, but we liked the process itself. We found out that working together is very easy for us, so the idea to form a band came almost by itself. Soon enough two girls came to do the singing and some time after we played our first gig.
Well, that show wasn’t our best show. But nor a disastrous either. People came to see some soft-rock and nu-metal, so when we started, it looked like everyone get a direct brain damage. In the end nobody quite understood, what they have heard, but some noticed a nice technique and sound. We also made our conclusions: we decided to leave the girls behind and go on voiceless. As the time showed, it was a good decision. From that day, our line-up is stable and unchanged:
Vladimir Kuznetsov – bass guitar (ex-Psalmody)
Ivan Gritsev – drums (also Sarcophagus(ukr), Shadows of Fate)
Thing started to get more interesting then. After receiving a few invitations, we played gigs in Kiev, Severodonetsk, Lugansk and Starobelsk. These shows were quite a progress for us. MaXinatoR appeared on a radio-show in Lugansk, and recorded a live-in-studio promo-EP “Radio Active”. After that we hit the road again in a small tour Severodonetsk – Kriviy Rig – Kiev, and returned to a studio towork on our full-lench material, witch will be released in march 2008.
MaXinatoR played gigs with: Shmely, Tin’ Sontsya, C’Ville, Tandem, Holodne Solntse, Biblioteka Prospero, Nojnitsy, Spasm, Stuff44, Pohoronnoe Buro, Intensive Neurotic Noise, ERROR: GENESIS, Grimfaith, Audisile, Zona Molchaniya, Teny, Labyrinth, Sinah, Simbioz, Avalon, Tshevchenko's band and many others, that I don’t remember now.
And there's a small part of our performance in Kriviy Rig, Ukraine (october 6th, 2007)
