SPEEDWAY FILMS is a full service video production
company that has spent the last 10 years specializing
in multi camera concert shoots, music videos, behind
the scenes and television and internet shows. Some of
our top clients include such record labels as: Warner
Bros., Capitol, Virgin, Island Def Jam, Jive,
Interscope and Sony. As well as networks such as MTV,
Fuse, VH1 and BET.
In 1997 Speedway Films started as a small a company in
New York, by Adam Rothlein while he was attending the
School of Visual Arts as a directing major. With the
success of his first few music videos done on shoe
string budgets, Speedway Films began to get attention
from record labels and new up and coming bands such as
Limp Bizkit and Sevendust. In 1999 Adam moved himself
and the company to Los Angeles, CA where he partnered
up with his older sister Jennifer Rothlein, who had
just ended a four year career as Associate Producer on
CBS's hit show "The Nanny". With the show ending, she
was looking for something new to get into. Adam
landed his first LA Video with WBR / Reprise Records
for artist KRS-ONE and the Temple of Hip Hop.
Jennifer and Adam took on their first project together
as the team that would become Speedway Films.
Through the years Speedway Films has developed a top
notch client list and reputation that has come
strictly through word of mouth from one label to
another. Speedwayfilms main objective is to bring
music to viewers in a fresh new way.
