What Is Avalon?
Avalon is an organization that tells the story of a rich and detailed world, the World of Vyrose, by providing either day long or weekend long or Convention events that take place in this fantasy world. During these events, people take on other personalities, other characters, and interact with each other and the world created by Avalon LLC. These events are live-action, which means that the players dress up in costume and act like their characters, much like impromptu theatre.
The events, which are put on by Avalon LLC, involve In-Character combat, which is closely watched by the Avalon Staff and adheres strictly to the Avalon Code of Conduct. Avalon players use foam or latex weapons and small beanbags filled with birdseed to simulate hand-to-hand combat and magical spells.
Avalon Game Masters, Marshals, Story Tellers and Avalon Game Staff monitor Avalon rules and regulations. All of these positions are to ensure that players have a great time while enjoying enriched plotlines and encounters with safety and enjoyment in mind.
