Born Ahmad Rashad Harden, Mr. Ahmad Rashad chose to use his God given name and talent to become successful rather than follow the trend. Performing in various cities and states, from Michigan to Tennessee and Illinois to name a few, and collaborating with artist, from New York to California and most spots inbetween, has helped develop a style that has to be lived to be duplicated. Universally accepted Ahmad has made music fitting for weddings, baby showers and funerals and has performed them at bars, clubs, sporting events and receptions. He has received awards and standing ovations for his poetry and live rap and is respected in the community as an exceptionally talented rapper. Through the world wide web Ahmad Rashad had built a fanbase spanning across the country and to various countries including Canada, Australia, England and Japan. Although hip hop was the theme music in the environment that Ahmad was raised, it wasnt until he became a member of 3 Deep in Nashville, Tennessee when he first began to record and perform rap. As a member of the group Ahmad learned how to structure a song using contrasting views and invent concepts and chorus from a third person perspective. He also learned live performance dos and donts while traveling across counties to entertain. Before a full length album could be recorded 3 Deep disbanded when Ahmad moved back to Detroit, Michigan to be with his terminally ill mother. All three members vowed to one day reunite and record tracks together. Shortly after returning to the Motorcity, Ahmad Rashad helped create Secret Serv-us, a duo that rapped with the fluidity of Run D MC and EPMD. Years later Ahmad helped build and create Serv-us Stations Studios. As co CEO, Ahmad Rashad learned the basic components of a recording studio as well as how to properly record vocals and produce tracks. After releasing two compilations Ahmad left Serv-us Station Studios, keeping the name and abandoning the equipment in search of professional production and global success. Everyday Mr. Ahmad Rashad works to further develop his talents and increase his knowledge of the entertainment business. He has received awards and won contests but has yet to find the financial backing necessary to reach his target audience and increase his fanbase. Along the way Ahmad has snagged acting roles in movies and plays. He is developing a portfolio and is seeking modeling jobs and promoting himself daily while making business connects. He is preparing himself for his big break realizing that making music is the easy part in a business where only the strong survive and the truly exceptional become legends.
