Hi! My name is Bobby Scumaci. Some of you who have already worked with me also know me as "Scumach"! I am a music producer, songwriter, and performer from the Chicagoland area. My current focus is on original music production and artist development.
Our professionally equipped recording studio and production facility is located in the western suburbs. We are equipped with Protools TDM Mix Plus 24 for recording/producing, and also have several different isolation rooms to help you capture the unique sound you are looking to achieve. Velocity Recording combines both a comfortable and a creative atmosphere for our clients, and is easily accessible from the major toll ways.
In addition to the "usual" recording/engineering that goes on at a studio, we offer commericial & film tracks, voice overs, demo production, instrument tracks (hammond B3, piano, keys, guitar, drums), and project consultation. We have a large network of professional studio and live musicians available if needed for your project. As a music producer, I can also produce your project at an outside studio if you prefer.
Commercially, I have produced, written or recorded music for Sega Genesis Video Games, Viacom Newsmedia, Akclaim Films, EAI (Engineering Animation Incorporated), Sony Music, United Way, UPS, and General Motors.
Most recently I have produced, written, recorded and/or played keyboards on CD's and demos for artists Joe Worrell, Hi Infidelity, Halfway Jane, Lucky Town, Last in Line, Johnny V., Quintin Marx, Jonelle Marie, D'arcy Park, Bob Miller's Ghost Tours, L & S Original Music/Production, and Career Musician.
