About Me

The Tartan Clan started out in 2001 shortly after the black tuesday attack on our mother city in New York. The T-bucket boys, which is how they were known, took immediate action because of the lack of trust in their government and started playing locally. They played fast and hard like something out of an adult movie, and climaxed with their stage antics to stunning audiences.
They owned the local scene in the 00's along side with the Los Dryheavers, Uzi Suicide, Double Fisted, and Violent Profanities (aka the Blackouts).
They shared the stage with such genres as Death Metal, Hardcore, Thrash, Punk, Indie, Emo, HipHop, Rockabilly, London Power Pop, and everything in between.
The Tartan Clan played with such names as: Lower Class Brats, New York Relix, Total Chaos, Blue Collar Special, Rotten F.U.X., The Phenomenauts, The Red Elvises, Calavera, 8 Bucks Experiment, Ed Temple, Victims, Mass Hysteria, The Thuz, 30 Years War, Pipedown, The Polysics, The Havok, The Abiotx, Moria, The Arcade, Paige, The Kung Foo Vampires, Judgement Day, and Arsonists Get All The Girls.
The Tartan Clan took a poo, on just about ever venue, yet still was called back because the demand was so high. Such antics as fire, spitting blood, hanging by microphone, zombie attacks and vampirism along with the ever so prevalent shaking and involuntary muscular contractions and somewhat disturbing on-stage seizures which Mike McDagger so gently portrayed. These things amongst the obvious raw sound of punk rock'nroll combined with the glamour of a horrific creature playing guitar so eloquently and the youthful yet restless vocals makes and breaks THE TARTAN CLAN!!! No one knows of their true Demise!!!!
