I'm Jean Pascal Spreutels and I'm MINDWINGS's and SAPPHIRE 's singer.
MINDWINGS is a band from Namur (Belgium), which I started in 2008 together with my two sons, Nicolas Spreutels and Julien Spreutels
(Both in Ethernity ). Our first song "Vision Of War" can be heard in here.

MINDWINGS is exclusively a studio band and isn't expected to ever go on stage, since Nicolas Spreutels can't play the lead guitar, the drums and the bass guitar at the same time...

SAPPHIRE is a band from Namur, which I founded in 1974 together with my brother, lead guitarist Benoît Spreutels. Between 1977 and 1991, after having written a set of songs and after many line-up changes, we finally got more stable and toured all around Belgium from north to south.
This was a great period: we became one of the most notorious heavy metal bands in our country.
In 1985, we recorded our first auto-produced mini-LP on vinyl support [Never Surrender / War To The Knife / The Mask].

SAPPHIRE is still alive nowadays: we've been in studio in 2007 to record a demo (Man In Space / Miroir / Scared).

Born on march 7, 1955 in Namur (Belgium), I became an English/Dutch/German teacher in 1977. Well, it didn't last for a long time: I turned into a bank employee in 1981, and that's what I still am today.
In 1984, I got married with Micheline Spiette, the most extraordinary woman I had ever met in my life. We still are together now and we devote our lives to our 2 sons, their girlfriends, they music... May God let us continue this for many, many years !
NICOLAS SPREUTELS (Drummer in Ethernity and Whispers
+ guitarist/drummer/bassist in Mindwings) is my son.
JULIEN SPREUTELS (Keyboardist in Ethernity , Mindwings, Sapphire and Origins ) is my son.
JULIE COLIN (Female vocalist in Ethernity ) is my son Nicolas's girlfriend.
BENOÃŽT SPREUTELS (Lead guitarist in Sapphire ) is my brother.
FRANCOIS SPREUTELS (Bassist in Ethernity and in Sapphire ) is my nephew.
