envoyé par GODLY971 Blessed be the name of our Master JESUS The Christ !!! master ? YES MASTER ! that means He is in control of me ( my body , my mind ... ). Sometimes we think we know or we think we are in the will of God because we've been " saved " for many years or because we got a titlle ( elder , deacon , bishop ... ) ; or because we speak in tongues we think we are alright with the Master . BUT this same person we call our Lord is the same person who told us that He will sent The HOLY SPIRIT who will teach us , who will tell us the same things Jesus told us and will do in us the same things JESUS did when He was down here . And just because we don't see Him (THE HOLY SPIRIT) physically, we allow ourselves a lot of stuff JESUS doesn't agree with. Most of the time the building we call "church" is filled with demon possessed people ; i don’t mean people who choose to obey satan but people who are prisoners from the enemy , people who got some burdens ; and when we take a look at the ministry of Jesus we see that everytime someone was captive He delivered this person eventhough there was a big crowd He always saw them where they were and saved them. Because JESUS doesn’t look for crowds but for repentant and pur hearts . The Lord JESUS didn't call us to " have church" but to be The Church . If we are disciples of Jesus (thats what christian means: belong to christ) our purpose is to make disciples . In the book of Matthew chapter 28 verse 19 JESUS says ( amplified version ):†Go then and make disciples of all nations “ . If we got 10000 OR 20000 people who have come to services every sunday for 5 years just to have " a break through" we are not in what Jesus The MASTER want from us . The Church is not recognized by the number of folks who are in a building , The Church is recognized by the gifts of The HOLY SPIRIT. Without the manifestation of The HOLY SPIRIT there is no church . Jesus said He won’t let us as orphans BUT He will sent The HOLY SPIRIT ; so that we can do what He has called us to do : TELL PEOPLE ABOUT THE MASTER , SET THE CAPTIVES FREE , DELIVER THEM FROM THE DEVIL’S HANDS , and MAKE DISCIPLES . When Jesus was here , the disciples were very attentive to His teaching . So as a matter of fact we got to stay close to The HOLY SPIRIT , we got to really know Him in order to stay in The Way , to remain in Christ and not just think about it because if we don’t stay sanctified ( that means set appart , holy , for God’s purpose , so that He can use us for the Glory of His name) , what happen is that we start going another way ; and we all read that Jesus is The Way in the book of John chapter 14 verse 6.But do we really understand what does Jesus mean ? It means we got to have the same attitude Jesus had and do the same things Jesus did as He said in the book of John capter 14 verse 12 (amplified version ) : “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. “ The same things Jesus did and even greater things than these .When did we experience that promise ? This is exactly what The HOLY SPIRIT came to do , the same things Jesus did and the greater things . The anointing on you make you do these things ( healing , deliverance , cast out demons , resusrection ...) . The anointing is not God’s favor it is God’s power , God’s holiness , it is God’s presence ; and as it is The HOLY SPIRIT who anoints people , as it is Him who gives power , ability , as it is Him who perform miracles through us we can talk about SPIRITUAL BLESSING . And this is what The Church or Body of Christ is all about spiritual blessings , spiritual gifts , spiritual fight , spiritual food because we all read that God is spirit and we know that flesh , flesh attitude , flesh behaviour , flesh ability , flesh power have nothing to do with God’s Kingdom . It ‘s all about the Spirit . The word blessing means heavenly reward , it means that God is agree with someone ; in other word it means that God is pleased with someone so to show that God gives this person something .So if you receive something from God that means this thing you have is in God or defines God ; because remember that God is spirit . So we got to be carefull when we talk about financial blessing because some of us preach or teach about it and it became a doctrine .BUT in the book of 1 Timothy chapter 3 verse 2 to 4 ( amplified version ) it is written: “Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation but must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect and temperate and self-controlled; [he must be] sensible and well behaved and dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable and qualified teacher, not given to wine, not combative but gentle and considerate, not quarrelsome but forbearing and peaceable, and not a lover of money [insatiable for wealth and ready to obtain it by questionable means].†And in Timothy 1:4 verse 1: “BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach “ and So we got to be very carefull because money is something we use for God’s purpose ( feed the poor , built schools or hospitals , built “churchesâ€, finance music and movies that glorify the name of JESUS...) not something that proves we are in God’s purpose . Didn’t we read in the book of Acts chapter 3 verse 6 (amplified version ) : “But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! “ Money has nothing to do with God’s Kingdom ; of course you got to have money in order to live down here ; of course you gonna have some good stuff if God is pleased with you But God is not pleased with us when we preach financial blessing instead of sanctification . God is not pleased with us when we say :†come back to God , accept His Son Jesus as your Lord and Savior so that He can give you money !!!†. Because thats exactly what people wants to hear ; in other word that is what the flesh likes . Jesus came to disturb the flesh and to give strength (OR LIFE) to our spirits . When we preach financial blessing what are the consequences ? People will like it , people will come again and bring their friends or family to “church†. And then we will see hundreds even thousands new people in the “church†and as a matter of fact just because we SEE thousands of people we THINK we are in God’s will BUT where are the gifts The HOLY SPIRIT is supposed to give us , where is the manifestation of God’s Glorious and Holy presence among us . We got to understand that we can not please God by thinking because of what we see but because of our FAITH for it is written and we all say this :†without faith it’s impossible to please God “ ( hebrews 11:6) and “So faith comes by hearing and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).†(romans 10:17) and “NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation,the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].†( hebrews 11:1 ) And in the book of James chapter 2 verse 26 it is written :†For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead. “ So we got to watch out and don’t be those who teach doctrines of demons ( 1tim 4:1) for it is written in the book of ephesians chapter 4 verse 30 :†Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin) .†JESUS IS LORD , our Master and Savior , to Him ,to The HOLY SPIRIT and to The Father belong the Glory , the praise , the honor and power forever and ever AMEN
