ARTSCAPE, the College Music Journal Festival, and many venues and colleges in New York, Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland, as well as television audiences have all bourne witness to the musical explosion that is Legion Lost. The band presents a sonic spectacle like no other, blending diverse influences in an unyielding sow of imagination and raw power.
During the band's initial 4 year mission, it sought out and charted brave new musical territories that recognized group influences and forged ahead to new sounds and approaches within the space of each musical landscape. Blending influences such as progressive rock, goth, spoken word, hardcore, shoegaze and soca, the band create an instantly identifiable and unique personal sound.
During its' existence, the group recorded has recorded songs at the home studio of legendary Butthole Surfers Bassist Kramer in New Jersey, and shot a dozen cutting edge music videos.Legion Lost began the second chapter of its' history in the summer of 2004 when the group's definitive line up reunited to record for the first time in 9 years. The group now returns to a very different world but stands ready to spread its' musical message, challenge political hipocracy, and blend elements to create new from the familiar.
