Belatedly joining myspace (August 2007) Mainly here for the music, to reach out to like-minded souls. I work at Bella Union records, quality UK indie currently celebrating 10 years of beautiful music. I oversee publicity here while also doing some A&R (I brought Fionn Regan to Bella Union). Other artists on the label include Midlake, Explosions In The Sky, The Dears, Howling Bells, The Kissaway Trail, Dirty Three, My Latest Novel, Beach House, Stephanie Dosen, Robert Gomez, Peter von Poehl, The Czars, The Autumns etc...Originally from Yorkshire, I lived in Manchester for 10 years, 1990-2000, studied Politics and History at the University, followed by a Masters degree while I was also taking an extended sabbatical in the clubs of manchester (Hacienda, Pardaise Factory, Electric Chair etc), before I (sort of) got my act together. Moved to London in 2000 to work in music. I'm a faithful kinda guy, and music was my first love...
