James Bethea Jr., Singer and Songwriter, has written songs for such as Canton Jones ("Love Song") and Creflo Dollar Ministries ("I'm a World Changer")
Born in Brooklyn, NY, James grew up in the neighborhood of Coney Island. He began singing in the choir of his church, Coney Island Gospel Assembly, at the age of fifteen. During this same time, he was also encouraged to join the Concert Chorus of his high school.
While attending college, James played a major roll in the forming of the University’s Gospel Choir, as well as a smaller gospel group. He later joined a band, formed by some of his college friends. He sang lead vocals for the band as they played for many college functions and at venues such as the Apollo Theater, where they became a crowd favorite.
James later moved to Atlanta, GA, where he married his college sweetheart and they now have two wonderful children. James also became a member of World Changers Church International, where the Founder and Pastor is Dr. Creflo A. Dollar Jr. It was under this ministry and the teaching of Dr. Dollar that James received an understanding of the Word of God that changed his life. He rededicated his life to Christ and began seeking the divine will of God for his life and joined the Music Ministry of WCCI. He sang in various choirs and groups within that ministry and later became a Praise & Worship Leader. It was during this time that he received the vision for “NothinButWord Musicâ€. Through time spent in the presence of God and receiving and obeying the words of his Man of God, James stepped out on faith and began to put legs to the vision. Thus you now have this awesome, anointed music ministry that is about to change the world.
