Elakiras aka DjTatu

Born in 1979 in Köln, Germany, Dj Tatu began his musical carrer in Mavi Radio in Afyon. Intitially he was engaged in production until he got to know Emre Tonga in 1999 and learned the finer ponts of his carrer. In this first appearances in Derya Dance Café, Club Kybele, Club Captain, Ikbal Disco, Veni Vidi Disco (all Afyon) and Relax Bar in Didim in 2000, he was able to show the extent of his talent. Whilst continuing to refine this talent, he took his first steps as a producer.In 2001 he was employed in production in Kolayli Radio / Afyonkarahisar. In 2003 he changed to Ekol Radio / Manisa, where he trained new faces in advertising and took charge of production. Whilst working at Radio Ekol he felt that something was missing from his life and he disrupted his Radio work to concentrate on his own productions.He is influenced by many prominent names including: Sanatik, Pirkelam, Necati Kocabay, Ahmet Parun, Baris Cagri Baloglu, Emre Baykal (Dj Baycall), Dj Cagatay, Dj Maydonoz, Dj Funky C who have sustained and encouraged him with their ideas and musical support.With help from Ahmet Sendil he continued to work on and improve his own productions. He is particularly interested in Electro House, progressive and different types of House Music.The tracks "My Honey" and " Airport" were completed in 2008 and can be found on the "Various Artist Vol.1" and " Various Artist Vol.2" from Bosphorous Underground.Music, to him, is as indispensable as love. He is therefore of the opinion that his life and experiences will continue to influence his work.Music is a permanent component of his life and an expression of the diversity of being.To be able to embrace this multiplicity and to pass it on as music will always be his mission in life.
