Sounds Like: (Quote: glasswerk) Following on from an impressive first EP, Caesura find themselves on mixed ground at the Camden Underworld. That is to say that their performance is nothing short of impressive, but leaving the two acts that followed after them a tough lead to match. But the less said about them the better. Caesura comprises four young male rock enthusiasts. A mix of self-teaching and instrument swapping in their pasts, Caesura seems to them their best collaboration; and judging by their efforts it is no lie. Like their earlier EP – the band have find themselves drifting between heavy alternative rock to the more quite moments of the industrial spectrum to lure the listener in. Lead singer Max has no problem giving away stage presence, whilst both Bass and Guitar are content to thrive only when called upon to. Phil’s mainly self-taught guitar is one of the bands most impressive features, but is a tribute to himself of what he is capable of. Even more impressive is the line up of new tracks that the band has produced as most of them effortlessly overshadow the first EP. With this kind of progress and performance, Caesura need only the right ears to hear them.
