DKN-001 - NAMOR / TULUGAAK - The Original Clash (Coming Fall 2007)
The Original Clash, to be clear, is exactly that. A Clash. A battle of ideals. The lowest, darkest caves of this planet. The bottom of the deepest seas. And the highest skies. The tallest mountains. the infinite gap between the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows. And this first offering is just that. Namor is Lord of Atlantis, the first mutant. He brings disturbing atmospheres and noisy screeches out of reach of your human ears. Yet he presents himself as champion to the Underworld. Tulugaak is a dark northern breeze. A raven. A lone spirit. He travels the sky. He is the creator of light and darkness. But he opens a deep wound in his flesh for this offering. Slow, unrelenting. It's their fight. It's for us to stand aside, witness what might come out of it. That is The Original Clash
This release will first be available on ultra-limited vinyl-CDs (it's a CD, and it looks like a vinyl, how punk-rock?), 50 copies, hand-numbered, in a black slim jewel-case. It will include a 8-page booklet (in the works, to be confirmed) with art in relation to the artists' work on the record. Because I care about my planet, all copies WILL NOT be shrink-wrapped. The record will be available directly through the label, 5$ plus shipping, and through the artists. The packaging and artwork should be available before Haloween '07.
