Alexander Bach Drummer / Production Manager / Executive The legendary Alexander Bach is an exceptionally gifted drummer and production executive. Born in a remote coal-mining region of the Ukraine, Alexander’s extraordinary talent & signature-worthy style on the drums became apparent before he turned fourteen. It quickly landed him in some of Russia’s (then Soviet) chart-topping 80s bands, and he was rockin’ the house behind the iron curtain before he even graduated high school. By decade’s end, Gold and Platinum hits throughout Easter Europe and live performances in front of crowds of 30,000 screaming fans in Moscow’s “Olympiiski†Stadium were all in a day’s work. Alexander was named “Top Drummer of the Soviet Union†by its chief press for two years in a row (87-89) and life seemed never better. Yet, after hitting the glass ceiling of success, in 1989 Alexander left it all and (as the fans wept) came to America in search of freedom and in the name of Rock & Roll! Unable to utter one work in English, his music spoke volumes. It touched a chord with the movers and shakers of Los Angeles’ booming music industry, fast-tracking his performing career.Before long, “Bach†became a household name to the press and at LA’s then hotter-than-hot Sunset Strip clubs & studios. While playing original projects (The Crime, Blue Ruin, Cut Throat Lane, The Goods, Goat Singers) Alexander was invited for session work with accomplished artists (John Goodsall, co-founder of Brand X with Genesis’ Phil Collins and a David Bowie collaborator Robin Lumley; Sasha Krivtsov, former Billy Idol bassist and in-house bassist for CBS’s popular “Rock Star†series and many more). With mastery of diverse musical genres, Alexander also put in some solid hours (as a for-hire or in original projects) at top U.S. and European recording studios, including A&M, Paramount, Signature, Indigo Ranch, Flight-19 and Criteria/Hit Factory. His latest international collaborative success includes recording in projects with Kenny G (drum tracks), Missy Elliot (drum tracks) and Maya (drum tracks).As a music executive, in 2006 Alexander formed Bach Entertainment (“BEâ€) providing executive production coordination and musical management services. Today BE facilitates collaborative success among local and international industry talent, representing music industry professionals ranging from top Hollywood producers, music video directors, songwriters, European singing sensations and home-grown R&B/Hip Hop & Pop/Rock artists. Alexander’s business savvy and industry network make him uniquely qualified to mastermind any musical project today.
